Okay, no. Nope.
At first, having co-workers treat me like a was a young girl was kind of cute and funny and even a bit understandable. I’m short, not exactly “womanly” in stature, have a youngish looking face, and my voice tends to take on a timid, girly pitch when I’m around people I don’t really know or am not completely comfortable around. I don’t know why it does that. I try to speak normally, but I think my nerves are just getting in the way. But that bit aside, their behavior is starting to become quite patronizing. At least to me it is.
I mean, yes I understand that I’m still relatively new to this job and that they’re just trying to help, but I would also appreciate at least having an oppurtunity to ask for it. I mean damn, people! Let me learn!
And you don’t have to talk in hushed tones about sex, various bodily functions, and anatomy in general. I’m 20, not 5.
Also, if I don’t get one of those titty cupcakes that are being passed out, I will be sorely upset and I will fall out on the floor and cry until I get one. Preferably one with a nipple ring.
Push them.
Push them on the ground and then take a titty cupcake.
